He was a wonderful pediatrician both when I was growing up as well as for my son. They don´t make them like him any more...

To the Plotnick Family:

Dr. Plotnick was my childhood pediatrician throughout the 1960's and 1970's. He was always kind and comforting to my sister and I. I have very fond memories of him (as well as his bustling waiting room in Skokie).

My condolences to your family.

To the Plotnick Family,

Dr. Plotnick was a wonderful, caring person, in addition to being an outstanding Pediatrician. He helped me raise my children, and was there to reassure me at every turn. I relied on his wisdom and judgment and he never let me down.

He went on to see my grandchildren, whom he cared for with the same devotion as he did my children.

Our family still talks about Dr. Plotnick and will never forget him.

My deepest condolences on his passing.

To The Plotnick Family

I miss Bob very much, in fact I have missed him since he retired. He was both my mentor and a father figure all the years we worked together.

He practiced medicine for the right reasons, the love of his patients and the skill of a great diagnostician. When I was privileged to practice with him, we spoke every day he was my 6am alarm clock. He was my resource and rock.

I am so proud to have inherited a practice he worked so lovingly at. We will honor his memory by treating our patients with the care, compassion and knowledge that would make him proud

We all miss you

Dear Plotnick Family,
Dr. Bob was always there for our children. Just talking to him would put my mind at ease. I so enjoyed how he would kid with me.

I see a lot of Dr Bob in Bennett with his wonderful bedside manner and in Gary in how family is job 1.

May you all take comfort in knowing your father is at peace.

To the PLOTNICK FAMILY:

WHAT A LOSS - WHAT A PEDIATRICAN - WHAT A FRIEND.

I leased him his cars for many years and he was a real"mensch".

We were very honored to have him and your Mom at all our children's Bar nd Bat Mitzvahs and also to their weddings. We never would of wanted it any other way.

As far as a Pediatrican, he was the BEST.
He took care of our four children then in turn took care of our grandchildren.

As far as OUR family goes, we will miss him.

I would not have survived my daughter's childhood without Dr. P. He was a caring, gentle man with a genuine love for his young patients and their families. He will be missed by former patients and their grateful mothers and fathers.

I played in the same golf foursome with Bob at Hillcrest Country Club for many years. Even though his practise swing was moe fluid than his actual swing, he still played a competetive game of golf. He was a great golf companion and an all out wonderful guy.

Dr. Plotnick was my pediatrician as a child back when he made housecalls and continued on as my son's Dr. He was the only Dr. who could look in my son's ears without him crying (he had chronic ear infections his 1st year). As a new mom who was clueless, he never made me feel that way. Always took the time to listen. He will be greatly missed. I am so sorry for your loss. Robin (Rose), Ron, & Ian Netter

To the Plotnick Family, your father was my pediatrician back in the days of house calls. He was there for the stitches, shots, fevers and check-ups. Our family still talks about Dr. Plotnick and the nurses in his office. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
