Ian Minich Obituary
Ian M. Minich, age 29, killed suddenly in a traffic accident in the State of California. A cherished son of John (retired CPD 2008) and Sharon, nee Dudones. A beloved brother of Deanna (Mark
Duhamel) and Brenda (Aaron) Holcomb. A fond nephew of many aunts and uncles; and a cousin to many cousins. A special grandson to William and the late Adelle, nee Zaremba, Dudones and the late Joseph and the late Elizabeth, nee O'Kelly, Minich. Funeral Services Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at Damar-Kaminiski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave. (2 mi. west of 79th & Harlem) Justice, IL. Visitation Friday, 2 to 9 p.m. ''Please, in the place of flowers and donations,'' support your local homeless shelter in Ian's memory.

I am sorry for the loss of a friend, and mentor. I remember spending every summer looking up to Ian. Ian was the big brother I never had, and someone I tried to emulate while attending Queen of the Universe. I will never forget alley-way basketball, baseball games in the parking lot, and hikes in Lemont when visiting his relatives. I will miss him greatly and regret that I haven't had the chance to see him since my move from Chicago. I will keep the family in my prayers. I miss having the best neighbors I've ever had. I would not be where I'm at today without all my experiences from the past. Thank you Ian.
