Ruth and family, I was so sorry to hear about Jim. He is someone who has always had a special place in my heart when it comes to precious brothers in the Lord. He certainly heard those words "Well done my good and faithful servant". I know he will be dearly missed but we grieve not as those without hope, knowing we will see our dear loved ones before too long. Your in my thoughts and prayers. With love,

Dear Ruth, Claudia and family,
We so loved and respected Jim and are grateful for the years that we knew him. His heart for God, the church, and missions was an inspiration and example to us all. He was a gentle, gracious and loving man who we so enjoyed being around. May the Lord comfort your heart at this time of loss. We love you, Henny and Jim
Many of our children, who grew up at FOL, remember Jim fondly, too.

My deepest condolences. Jim was such a wonderful man of God. He always had a hug and a kind word for everyone he came into contact with. I also loved his sense of humor, frequently making me laugh at house group. He will be missed!

Dear Aunt Ruth and Family,
The DeBoers and Tamelings have always had such a special relationship, and we're really going to miss our cousin Jim. He has always inspired us with his great Christian faith, his fun personality and his humor, even in the last few weeks, laughing with us when he could hardly talk anymore. We pray for God's comfort for all the family.

You have our deepest sympathy. We love you! Jim was one of my best friends and probably the most righteous man I have ever known. There are only a small handful of guys that fit in that group and Jim is one of them. My heart is broken as I know yours is. We look forward to the day when Jesus brings us back together.

Dearest Ones,
My deepest heartfelt sympathy's go out to Auntie Ruth, Kathy & Dave Schuurman, Claudia & Matt Bosman & Family's on the loss of a truly inspirational man. Despite the sadness & tragedy's of the past, there have also been many times of great joy (and fun). Jimmy's heavenly gain is our loss. And right now, I can't help but smile when I think of him running on the streets of gold finally whole again!
To all that knew Jim, you would have to say that you felt blessed to be around him. He was such an incredible man! For those of you who knew my Mom, (who was often described as "solid gold"), you can't help but agree that Jimmy also belongs in the "solid gold" category. I am truly thankful, honored, and blessed to have shared a lifetime of memories with all of you throughout the years. You will be greatly missed Jim.
