I'm very sorry to hear about Jim.
I did not know until today when I worked at Delnor; sorry I missed the services.
I'm really glad I got the chance to take care of him when I gave him his transfusion recently. I'll cherish the memories of that day.

I can only think warm thoughts when I think of Mr. Herrick. Always a smile on his face and a kind word. He was such wonderful man and a great friend to both of my parents. In the haze of my father's death, the only phone call I can remember making was the one to tell Mr. Herrick. It is a very hard memory for me. He will be missed. Your family is in my prayers.

What can I say about my best friend, Sue's dad? I remember since our grade school days, Mr. H -quite the "gentle giant"! A big guy with a big smile, a hearty laugh, a deep yet soft and gentle voice, but more importantly a caring, loving husband and dad with a great big heart. Oh, how he and my dad could finally roar in laughter about the night the police came for me and Sue (AND them) and drove us all to Westchester to "clean up" our TP job one high school night! Still a favorite memory of your special dad, Sue, that you know we still enjoy to this day! In these later years, I have much enjoyed listening to Sue tell me about all the special trips Mr. & Mrs. "H" still took each year, from Florida keys to Arizona & my personal favorite, Alaska! He loved life and he loved his family. Now at this time my thoughts and heart are with Sue, mom - Anne and siblings Jim, Lynn, Pat & Amy. My hopes and prayers at such a sorrowful time is that you can hold on to the best of dad and feel some peace in knowing that you will be together again in a far better place. I love you all. Robyn
