To The Callahan Family-
I work at the Jewel in Glenview and am a member of OLPH parish. Your mother was not only a regular customer at Jewel, but also one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life.
I lost my husband 3 1/2 years ago, and she often made dinners for my family. We loved her chocolate chip cookies!!!
Please know that my children and I are praying for your whole family.
God Bless,
Michele, Courtney, Erinn,& Meara Nariss

Our love and prayers go out to the whole Callahan family. Today heaven is a brighter place with Jeannine's sweet and beautiful smile shining on it. It was always a pleasure and treat to spend a few minutes after Mass chatting with her. After all these years I discover she went to school at Sacred Heart on Sheridan Road in Chicago. I grew up just a few blocks north on Loyola Ave and knew, I'll bet, many of her classmates. We are just ending a month long vacation in Naples, Florida and will not be able to attend her funeral, but she and all of you will be in our prayers. We will miss her.

Your fabulous mother! A lovely person, great baker, mainstay of the parish. Is there a person in Glenview who does does not know Mrs. Callahan? She never knew a stranger and was the first one at Mass, the first to bring a meal to an ill person, the first to ask for your children.
What a loss for you. What a loss for all of us. She will be missed. Love to all.....
