Jeffrey Rusch Obituary

Rusch, Jeffrey
Jeffrey Rusch, 52, son of Mary Yore Rusch and Ronald Rusch, born on July 30, 1956, passed away on Thursday, February 5. He and his brothers Gary (Linda), Timothy (Linda) and Steven (Darlene) grew up in Northbrook. He was baptized, made his First Communion and was Confirmed at St. Norbert's Catholic Church. He attended St. Norbert's Grade School, and went on to then graduate from Loyola Academy, and Western Colorado State, in Gunnison, Colorado. Jeff developed a great love for fishing, skiing, and hiking during his days at school in Colorado, where he met and married Sherry Means. It was there he also found his first tiny kitten, Harvey, who came home from college with him, the first of many cats who followed. After college, Jeffrey joined his father's company where he was employed as Sales Manager for 29 years. He traveled extensively, as his job took him to many far places in Europe and Asia.
Jeff and his late Grandfather, Lloyd Yore, were the very best of pals, and most devoted fans of The Chicago White Sox, The Green Bay Packers, and Notre Dame!
A Memorial Mass was held on February 14, 2009 at St. Norbert's. Prayers and masses are greatly appreciated, or donations may be made to the Northbrook Historical Society, or Orphans of the Storm in Riverwoods.
