Joan Bissing Obituary
A longtime resident of Edison Park and dedicated parishioner of St Juliana Parish. Joan loved working for Ferree-Florsheim and Food For Thought in the catering industry for many years.
Visitation Sunday, July 9, 2023, from 3 until 8 pm at the M J Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N Northwest Hwy., Chicago. Funeral Monday, 9:30 am prayers at the funeral home to St Juliana Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org

Mrs. Bissing was just an absolute doll. Always happy and positive and welcoming to me. Always was so elegant and classy and well dressed. She was just a joy to be around and even though I didn´t get to see her that much the last few years she always was someone i felt close to and happy that she was around. I´m sad today, especially for my friends who lost their wonderful mother, but I´m happy she is with her husband and friends and her God and I hope to see her again one day. God bless her and her wonderful family.
