Joelyn Frisch, nee Saltzman, of Deerfield, formerly DeKalb, IL, Beloved Wife of the late Morton J. Frisch. Loving mother of Hollis, Mark (Carla) and Rabbi Seth (Rabbi Robyn). Proud Grandmother of Jeremy, Ethan, Naomi, Benjamin, Noah, and Talia; Fond aunt, cousin, and friend of many. Long time administrative secretary of the Northern Illinois University Department of Communicative Disorders, rich civic contributor including: founder and president of Congregation Beth Shalom in DeKalb, IL, president of the League of Women Voters of DeKalb County, president of the Williamsburg, VA Girl Scout Council and countless board and volunteer positions. Services Sunday, 11 AM at Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home, 310 Oak St., DeKalb. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Morton J.
