John William Barker, Sr., 74, of Chicago, passed peacefully on January 4, 2015 in Fort Myers, FL. Beloved husband of Margaret (Peg), loving father of Susan Skowron (John), John Barker (Nancy) and the late Brian Barker, cherished grandfather of Annelyse, Alyson, Michael, JP, Patrick and Emma. Visitation at Holy Name Cathedral, 735 N State St, Chicago on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 9:00 AM and Mass at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association. Friends may sign the guest book at www.horizonfunerals.com.
