I can only reaffirm what I wrote last year: Jack - your kind gentleness is needed more than ever in a world gone crazy. Your light, now sadly extinguished, is hugely missed.

In the troubled world we have today it is so very good to recall Jack. He was a gentle person, always kind and thoughtful. I knew him since the time he married my sister, Anne. On my annual trips back to the States it was a great pleasure to stay with them as he was so welcoming and we all would have a great time. Sorely missed...a light extinguished.

To the Brinckerhoff Family,
Your father always brought a smile to my face. I first met him 30 years ago when we traveled to your home where you all grew up to attend Andy's wedding in July, 1983. He always had a way about him to joke with me and make me laugh. I have very fond memories of your Dad.
Our prayers are with all of you,
Dorothy Constantin,
Matthew, Andrew and Emily Constantin

Jack is now where he belongs-with his God and His angels and saints and his loveable Mother, Mary! Met Jack in the last hour of a retreat at Shellbourne. He changed my life. Has since been in my daily prayers. What a GEM!

I am saddened by the passing of Uncle Jack. I have fond memories of our family trip to Chicago in 1967; seeing Uncle Jack, Aunt Helen and all of my cousins while being able to go to Wrigley Field to watch a Cubs game. My infrequent trips to Chicago over the years almost always included a visit with the family. He will be missed; what a great man! Sincerely, Neil Rodden

Please know that the Conboys have all the Brinckerhoffs in our prayers during this difficult time. We are sorry for your loss. I have great memories of your dad and his appreciation for a good laugh. He always brought such a fun attitude to our big extended family gatherings. I'm sure he is enjoying a beautiful gathering now with our Father in heaven.
Love,
Joe Conboy Jr.

from 2 Timothy: '....the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day.' And who would deny that Jack - beautiful man, kind, gentle, steadfast, brave, faithful to the end, has now received that much-deserved reward?
I hope this thought goes someway in consoling all of you and all the people whose lives he touched. What luck I had in having known such a man.
Affectionately,
Barbara Seymour (sister-in-law)
