John Byczek Obituary

John "Jack" Lawrence Byczek, born May 26, 1935 in Chicago and passed away October 6, 2016, resident of Glenview for 56 years. Beloved husband for 58 years of Marcia Byczek nee Kirk; loving father of Deborah Byczek (Wolfgang) Josenhans, Diana (John) Rivard, Beth Byczek Chaplick; cherished grandfather of Heidi and Austin Josenhans, Ryan and Derek Rivard, Phillip and Sarah Chaplick. Jack was the longtime owner of Byczek Enterprises. Visitation will be held Monday, October 10, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., (just south of Lake Ave. on west side) Glenview. Funeral mass Tuesday, October 11 at 12 Noon at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1775 Grove St., (at Church St.) Glenview. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sr. Paulanne's Needy Family Fund, C/O OLPH, 1775 Grove St., Glenview, IL 60025 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. My prayers and thoughts are with the Byczek Family at this time. John, Marcia, and I had many good times at Hackney's and I will always cherish these memories.
