I was deeply saddened to learn of Mr. Capron's recent passing away.
I was Mr. Capron's secretary at CCC for two years (1968-1969). He was a kind, understanding and very fair boss besides being well liked & well respected by all of his colleagues & people who worked for him. He loved your Mother and all his children who he always enjoyed talking about. I was so happy when your parents responded "Yes" to my wedding invitation in January 1970, because I finally would have a chance to meet your Mother who I had heard so much about while working for your Dad. I was aghast that at my wedding reception my Uncle asked my boss's wife, Eleanor, to arrange the flowers that were brought from the church to the reception. I asked him why he choose her and he said "she looked like she was the kind of lady who knew what she was doing". And yes, he was absolutely right, they looked spectacular - thanks to your Mother - who had never met me before.
My very deepest sympathy goes to all of you; your Father's wonderful memories will live within your hearts forever.
Peace be with you always.

Dear Capron Family: I am writing this note on behalf of my mother Dee Phelus, my brother George and my entire family. My father Dean Phelus, who died in 2001, was a life long friend of your father, your uncle Lou and your grandfather Jack. I grew up hearing marvelous fishing and hunting stories about my father and The Caprons. I had the opportunity to meet your father and your mother on two or three occasions many years ago. Please accept our most sincere condolences. Due to the inclement weather we will not be able to attend the visitation or the funeral. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Ted Theophilos
