Fieri, age 82, of Stone Park, WWII Veteran, U.S. Navy, beloved husband of the late Gilda; dear father of Brian (Gail) Fieri; loving grandfather of Tiffany and Scott Fieri; fond brother of Tony (Gates) Fieri and the late Bill (Mary), and the late Ronnie Elftman. Funeral service Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at Bormann Funeral Home, 1600 Chicago Avenue, Melrose Park. Interment Fairview Memorial Park, Northlake, IL. My heartfelt sympathy on your loss. John is my cousin (our mothers were sisters) and I have many happy memories of our childhood and teen-age years. The things I remember the most about John were his kindness, gentleness and beautiful smile. This is the way I will always remember him.
