John W. Glueckert, 82, of Arlington Heights, beloved husband of Rosanna N. (nee Airdo); loving father of John W. Jr. (Lori); Mary Cecelia (Marc Heidkamp) Glueckert-Heidkamp, and Jacqueline (Chris Mahon); loved grandfather of Riley and Carson Mahon, Alexi and Seth Heidkamp; dear brother of Mary Ellen (late Wilbur) Borton, the late Rosemary Kinnard, and Richard F. "Bud." Visitation from 3 until 8 pm, Thursday at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arl. Hts, Ill. Prayers 11:15 am, Friday from the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arl. Hts. Rd., Arl. Hts., IL, 60004 for Mass at Noon. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. James Church, or Northwest Community Healthcare Foundation, 3060 W. Salt Creek Lane, Arlington Heights, IL, 60005 appreciated. More than a great husband, father and grandfather, a real gentleman, a professional and caring businessman and a friend to all who worked in some capacity with him. Arlington Heights lost a great resident and everyone who knew him, lost an excellent friend. May John rest in peace.

Our sympathy and prayers are sent, what a gentleman everyday. I had the honor of meeting Mr. John with my dad (Bill Kyska) on many occasions having Coffee at Dunton House or at the Race Track having some giggles and chats. My dad always talked of John and what a great good man he is. Thinking of you all. Missy
