John Hiffman

John Dennis Hiffman, 44, of Lake Geneva, WI and formerly River Forest, IL died peacefully Thursday morning December 22, 2016. John was born in Maywood, IL on September 26, 1972 and is survived by his parents Dennis and Barbara (O'Keefe) Hiffman of Oak Brook, IL, formerly River Forest, IL. He is survived by his devoted wife Denise (Zarnstorff) Hiffman and his three, fun loving sons: John "Jack" age 9, and twins Thomas and Patrick age 8. Also, survived by brothers Matthew (Narayani) Hiffman of Woodstock, IL and Daniel (Stephanie) Hiffman of Elmhurst, IL and uncle to several nieces and nephews. John graduated from Fenwick High School in Oak Park, IL class of 1990. He then graduated from Roosevelt University of Chicago IL class of 1999. Upon graduating, he began his career in restaurant management in Chicago. John was an avid reader of history and science fiction. Above all things, John was a people person. He made friends everywhere he went, and enjoyed engaging people in conversation with his wit and humor. He loved all of his friends, old and new, and he will be greatly missed by everyone. Visitation Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 3 to 8 p.m.at Drechsler, Brown and Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park.
