John "Jack" McSweeney, age 73, of Naperville, IL, at rest Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009. Born Aug. 11, 1935 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late William and Gertrude McSweeney; beloved husband of 52 years of Kathleen; loving father of Jack (Nancy) McSweeney, Jim McSweeney, Mary Pat (Vince) Piscopo, Bill (Ginny) McSweeney and Kelly (Mike) McSweeney-Loonan; proud grandfather of Michael, Laura, Jim, Nicole, Bobby and Grace; dear brother of Rita (Dick) Hynes and Jayne (Fred) Krol; fond nephew of Bill (Marilyn) Clancy; and survived by many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association, Northern Illinois Affiliate, 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL 60602. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville, IL. Interment at Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton, IL.
