Thought and prayers to the Spellman family. Eileen and I were in the same class. John was a good friend for me when I went to Carmel,just a nice and gentle person. Wonderful memories of going to Prom with him!

Sad to hear of your passing John. You were friends with my brother Michael Berg. I went to school with your sister Eileen. I just remember you as a handsome smart and kind young man. God bless you and your family. Rest in peace. My brother always spoke very highly of you at Carmel High School.

To John's Family and legion of friends my heartfelt sympathies. To John's Sister Peggy, whenever your Brother spoke of you his face would light up. He truly adored and admired you. When I would walk into Harte's or Wrongs John always served up a joke before serving up my drink. John was a true Gentleman in every sense of the word and will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Spellbound! Miss you already Johnny, should have jumped in the car and visited when we talked last week. We had so many adventures over the last 50 years, I could write a book, maybe I will. You were always good company old buddy, always glad to see me whenever I walked into one of your saloons. Please ask Our Lord to send me the Lotto numbers!
