To Peggy, her family and all of Johns family we send our very deepest sympathy on your great loss.
We only knew John a few short years, but felt he was an old friend. We shall always remember his warm smile. We were so thankful he came into Peggy's life for we felt she was so deserving of happiness---and we know he did just that!!
We share in your sorrow. May happy memories help ease each and everyones pain.

We got to know John through Peggy, who is my long-time dear friend. We're sorry we did not get to know John's family. I did see pictures of the grandchildren displayed on their refrigerator. I just visited with John and Peggy on Tuesday, 11/19, then John was off to bowling. Through our conversation he mentioned he would drink Slim-Fast for a meal and I said I did now and then too. When I talked to Peggy this morning I mentioned how I had thought to myself that if Slim-Fast keeps him looking so good and staying active maybe I should drink it more often.
John was a very nice man. I know he enjoyed yard work and taking care of the birds - and his effort showed.
