It will be 15 years tomorrow that you were taken from us, yet it is not any easier to accept than when you were gone for a week, a month, or a year. They say the bigger the grief, the bigger the love. You were loved by so many and you continue to live in our hearts. Love you, Maria

John, the love of my life ! Life isn't the same without you and probably will never be. You are missed so much. During the past year, a day has not gone by without my thinking about you. With Love Today, Tomorrow and Always,
Laverne (together 31 years)

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

It's one year ago today that you slipped away from the bonds of earth physically, however you continue to live in our hearts & minds each and every day. This past year has been very difficult without you, and today is just as difficult as 6/21/2007. Time does not heal all wounds, however I am grateful to God for putting you in my life! I realize today that no time would have ever been enough for us with a person like you!
Love,
Maria

Dear John- The first time we met is when you were the ring-bearer and I was the flower girl for Stella & Ed's wedding. We shall miss you, and you certainly are in our prayers.

I worked with John for many years at UARCO Business Forms at 50th and California in Chicago and when the plant closed, we kept in touch by joining the Retirees Club and bowling and golf leagues. John was a friendly guy, enjoyed a good laugh now and then and fun to be around. Easy going, I don't ever recall seeing him get really angry. I'll miss him.

Dear John,
We didn't share a bloodline or a last name, however that didn't stop you from loving me as one of your own! Thank you for taking on the role as a dedicated and loving Dad. I will always cherish the special times we've shared!
With Love & Gratitude,
Maria

John, my friend, companion, confidant and partner. You loved me unconditionally. You excepted me exactly as I am. I loved you the same. I was with you to the end. My heart is saddened. You suffer no more. I live on in your memory.
With Deepest Love,
Laverne
