Joseph A. Juliano, 74, of Deerfield, passed away Aug. 26, 2007. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Jewel Foods after over 35 years. After retiring, he found his dream job working at Countryside Golf Course in Mundelein. Loving husband of Joyce; beloved father of Gina (Mike) Leander and Rose (Jim) Reid; stepfather of Jim Charles, Tom (Kathy) Charles, Carol (Kirby) Church, John Charles and David ( Rochelle) Charles; cherished grandfather of Courtney, Caitlyn, Kurt, Christopher, Danielle, Carly, Austin, Andrew, Cole, Jason, Caden and Nic; dear brother of Teof (Virginia), Jim (Lois), Mike (Carol) and Tony (Marilyn); fond brother-in-law of Pearl; uncle to many nieces and nephews and good friend to those who knew him; preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Asunda and his brother, Nick. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007 from 10 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at noon at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park, IL 60035. Uncle Joe was a wonderful man. He was always happy and smiling. I think that is what I will miss the most, that smile and the twinkle in his eyes. I loved him so much and will miss him even more.
