I think about Katie ( as I knew her) so often and smile at the way she told you like it is. Her whole life was about honestly, kindness, and laughter! It was wonderful that we got to reconnect and pick up where we left off, like time never paused! hope she's keepin the other angels in line!

Kathy had a great impact on my life. Visiting the Cybulski home as a child, then again as an adult with my own wife and child are some of the best memories I will ever have. Coming across from Ireland as a kid to spend the summer (in 94) with a family I had never met was understandably a big step, but Kathy, Tim, Danny, Chris, Besto, and Kathy's mom and dad, and extended family, made it seamless. Visiting again in 97 (although I was a bratty teen by then) also gave me lasting memories. I will never forget the hospitality, or the love, support, and advice Kathy and Tim have given me over the years. I was so happy to reconnect with Kathy and Tim in 2011 and meet up with them when I visited the US in 2012, 2013, and 2015. I am very happy that Kathy got to meet my eldest son Liam, and my wife Fiona. I wish she had the opportunity to meet my daughter Rosie and youngest boy James. I had hoped to see them in Ireland, and I still hope to have Tim visit here one day. I will miss Kathy so much. And will never forget her. From Tommy, Fiona, Liam, Rosie, and James over in Belfast.

Throughout the years, Kathy hosted many family get-togethers. With pool parties, barbeques and holiday meals, she brought family together for good conversation and family cooking. She had strong beliefs and opinions but was also interested in hearing differing opinions. She lived her life with compassion and integrity. We celebrate and appreciate her contribution to our lives and to those she loved the most. We loved her, her sense of humor and kindness. We believe life goes on as we leave the material world for the spiritual world. The hardships and suffering fall away as we transition into the spiritual life with God. May God bless her and comfort all who loved her so deeply.

Kathy was my first daughter-in-law but more than that, she became a daughter and very true friend. Her strength as an individual was an exemplary as a person from day one. She was strong willed. The Finnegan's would be proud of not just the woman she became but of the son's that she raised. She was a great mother of Christopher and Danny as well as a wonderful grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren. I will miss you more every day.

KATHY WAS A WONDERFUL SISTER-IN-LAW,OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN. UNFORTUNATELY,BEING THAT MY MOTHER (RITA CYBULSKI/TIM'S MOM) AND I LIVE IN OHIO, WERE UNABLE TO BE THERE WHEN KATHY PASSED. SHE WILL BE DESPERATELY MISSED. FORTUNATELY MY BROTHER MET HIS MATCH IN KATHY. SHE MADE HIM A BETTER MAN (NOT THAT HE NEEDED IT) AND HE LOVED HER COMPLETELY. I WILL BE EVERLY GREATFUL THAT ON MY BIRTHDAY IN MARCH WAS ABLE TO SPEAK WITH HER. SHE TOLD ME SHE LOVED ME AND I HER. BEST PRESENT EVER!!! SHE WAS ONE OF THE STRONGEST WOMAN I'VE EVER KNEW AND I HAD THE PLEASURE OF BEING RELATED TO HER. HEAVEN TOOK BACK ONE OF IT'S ANGELS I LOVE YOU KATH FOREVER AND ALWAYS. NTM. RITALYN SANDERS

To the Cybulski Family..... We are so very sorry for your loss. Although the obituary was beautifully written, it doesn't sound like it holds a candle to the beautiful person Kathy was Rest in Peace

I've known Katie ( as I knew her) since 6th gradr at St Leonards and then at Nazareth. Although we lost touch for awhile (marriage, kids) we reconnected a few years ago, and it felt like old times, picking up where we left off. Katie was one of the most toughest, kindest woman I was priviledged to know... she was funny, kind, and also looked at the postives in her life. She was firecely protective of her family, and even more of her grandkids. I am so sad to learn of her death, and this earth won't be the same without her smile and warmness! Katie, Until we meet again, old friend!
