Kathryn Ann "Katie" Leaman. January 14, 2024. Age 41. Beloved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend, and aunt. Born April 15, 1982. Former resident of Washington D.C., Evanston, IL, and Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. Graduate of Dakota High School, the University of Michigan, and American University Washington College of Law. Katie worked as an associate at Sidley Austin in Washington D.C. for seven years and for Astellas Pharma in the Legal Regulatory group thereafter. Katie's greatest passions were her animals and traveling. She was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, in 2021 and put up a heroic fight. Daughter of Jerome and Deborah. Sister of Kimberly and Kelly Donahue (Scott). Aunt of Nora Kathryn Donahue. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 19, from 3-8PM and on Saturday, January 20, at 10AM until a Sharing of Memories Service at 11AM at A.J. Desmond & Sons 2600 Crooks Rd. Troy, Michigan.
