Kathy Becker Obituary
Kathy Lee (Schmitz) Becker died on October 17, 2013 from a brief illness, family by her side, she was 61. Born to Paul and Mary Schmitz on May 3, 1952, they preceded her in death. She married John Becker on September 17, 1977. They worked together in construction for thirteen years and was a Wal-Mart associate for the last nine years.
She leaves behind three children in addition to her husband: Michael Becker, Jennifer Becker and Kathryn (Eric) Glime. She is also survived by her siblings: Jim (Karen) Schmitz, Larry (Judy) Schmitz, Ron Schmitz and Nancy (Dennis) Martin; in-laws: Marge Stegmann, Marlene Marrick, Milly (Rick) Schieve, Mary (John) Roth, Joann (Dennis) Wolfgram, Theresa (Ed) Schroeder and Jim (Julie) Becker, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Mark and Mary Becker, and brothers-in-law: Bob Stegmann and Max Marrick.
Friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St, De Pere, on Friday, October 18, from 5-7pm, with a parish prayer service at 7pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, at the church, from 9-10:15am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am with the Rev. Judah Pigon, MF officiating.
