Kenneth Keller Obituary

Kenneth T. Keller, age 88, January 3, 2017 Kenneth was born in Chicago, IL on May 23, 1928, son to the late Nora & Joseph Keller. He was preceded in death by, brother, Joseph R. Keller, Jr., daughter, Norene Keller; sons, Sgt. Kenneth T. Keller, Jr., Paul J. Keller; granddaughter, Shannon Keller. He graduated from Lane Technical High School in Chicago, IL and also attended the University of Illinois after serving in the United States Army as a paratrooper. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 166. He retired from Teletype Corp. in 1985, and subsequently moved to Nashville, TN in 2005. Mr. Keller enjoyed Chicago sports teams, reading, swimming and his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sophia (Balodimas) Keller; son, Michael (Kelly) Keller; grandchildren, Josh, Jack, Erin, Madeline, Mia, Grant and Jake Keller. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at St. Henry Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Music City Detachment 378, Nashville Department of Tennessee Marine Corps League, P.O.
