Dear Elana, Joey, Sheila and family,
Leah and Arnie were among our best friends for many years. We knew Elana and Joey when they were infants. So many memories... We were stunned to hear Leah is gone. You have our sincere condolences. Your mom was special.

Leah was so good to my family, and especially to my mother and aunt over the last 20 years. She was a rock in many ways. And when I was a child, she was one of the first people who gave me confidence in myself. What a wonderful woman; hard to believe she is gone.

She was like extended family to so many of us. What a great life she lived. A warm and loving woman with a will of iron. Her legacy will live on thru her family

Leah was a strong role model for three little girls growing up in the 60's, when it truly was a "village" raising the youth in townhouse rows 5&6. I have many rich and wonderful memories of her strong presence and was blessed to reconnect with her, albeit briefly, later in her life. Amazing life, amazing woman!
