Verness E., nee Morriss; loving father of Leo Jr. (Linda) Sances, Susan (Paul Sanders) Sances, Jim (Kathleen Susan) Sances, John (Beth) Sances and Kathleen (Kevin Machalek) Sances; loved grandfather of Leo III, Julie Kellenberier, Sarah, Lauren, John,

Kathleen, John Machalek and Lily

Machalek; dear great-grandfather of four. Leo was preceded in death by his siblings, Sam, Virginia, Joanna, Ross, Charles, Tony, Mary and Anna. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blks S. of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Memorial Mass 11 a.m. Thursday, at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 450 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 640 N. LaSalle, Suite 282, Chicago, IL 60610.
