Lester Inbinder, age 85, of Northbrook and Tucson, AZ. Founder of Wilmette Jewelers in 1954, a pillar of the Wilmette Community. Beloved husband of the late Irma, nee Ziff; loving father of Gayle Inbinder, Lisa (Richard) Golden and the late Charlene (Steven) Fischman and Ronald Katz; adored grandpa of Jason and Adam Fischman,
Stephanie and Lindsay Katz, Shira, Rebecca and Jenna Golden; dear brother of Alan (Francine) and the late Richard (Sheila); fond brother in law of the late Philip (Lynne) Ziff. Lester was a great friend and mentor, especially grateful for his life long friends from the Austin Neighborhood. Service Thursday 11 a.m. at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Michael Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, 910 W. We were saddened to read of Lester's passing and wanted to convey our sincere condolences to all our Inbinder cousins. We have always appreciated Lester's concern for his extended family and his efforts in dealing with the Waldheim gravesites.
