Linda A. Eckert, 68, of Palatine, born Dec. 19, 1939 in Union County, Iowa, she passed away Dec. 10, 2008 in Arlington Heights, IL, wife of the late Alan G. Eckert Sr.; mother of Donna Eckert, Alan G. (Barbara) Eckert Jr., Sandra (Johnny) Merced and Lisa
Eckert; grandmother of Daniel; daughter of Marjorie and the late Everett Newman; sister of Shirley (Hugh) Nicholl; sister-in-law of Carol (James) Buchanan. Linda was devoted to her family and possessed a special love for all her pets. Funeral Services and interment will be private. Memorials may be made to Save A Pet Inc., 31664 N. Fairfield Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030 or your local humane society. Arrangements by Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 847-358-7411
