Louise Nystrom, 102, died peacefully in Bremerton, WA on July 26. Born May 30, 1905 in Chicago. She lived in Logan Square for 98 years before moving to Bremerton in 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claus and Selga, sister Ruth, brother Robert and niece Mary Petersen. She is survived by her niece, Nancy Conway; sister-in-law, Janice Nystrom and 12 grand nieces and nephews. Louise retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1967. She was active in her church for her entire life. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Logan Square, 2649 North Francisco Avenue, Chicago on Saturday, September 15th at 2 p.m. with reception following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Church.
