Maria Demos nee Bouzanis. Beloved wife of William Demos; Loving mother of Harry, Gus, Sandra (Peter) Dremonas, Christ (Karen), Dr. Alexandria (Dr. Christ) Kardasis and Jimmy (Wendy) Demos; Proud yiayia of Valerie (Constantine) Koutsoupias, Peter, Marlee, Alexis and Chrissa Dremonas, Maria, Billy and Faye Demos, Theodore, Maria, William and Alexander Kardasis and Dimitri and Mariel Demos; Great yiayia of Themi Koutsoupias; Dear sister of Georgia (the late Bill) Alexander, Tasia (the late George) Christakis, Eleni (the late Ted) Skombis and the late Alec (Kiki) Bouzanis; Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Maria was a member for many years at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Chicago. Visitation Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 1104 Waukegan Rd., Glenview. Family and friends will meet Thursday morning at St John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 Dempster St. (at Tri-State Tollway), Des Plaines, IL 60018 for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wilmer Eye Institute for Retina Transplant Research (Attn: Kim Morton), 600 N. Wolfe Street, Wilmer 112 Baltimore, MD 21287 would be appreciated.
