Para mi fuiste tantas cosas en esta vida: Hermana, Comadre, Amiga, Socia, Vecina, Consejera y en todo fuiste lo máximo. Maria is my idea of Grace. She was a master teacher of young children, an outstanding Spanish language teacher to young children and my complete picture of a real princess. I love her dearly. Patty

Maria is an inspiration to the faculty, staff and students of North Shore Country Day. She fought her cancer with courage, determination and humor.
