My message is a bit late, but I have thought often of Mrs. Turk. I was home in October and did see her in the hospital when I visited with my mother, Martha. Mrs. Turk did not know we were there, but we said our goodbyes at that time. I will remember the many conversations I had with her over the years. Each time I went home to Chicago (from Miami, where I live), I would attend mass on Sunday in Lemont. We had many beautiful conversations, and she was a truly happy lady. I know she is today a saint because she was kind and loving. I will miss seeing her again, but I send my love to her husband, children and grandchildren.--Sandy Pecharich

We are so sorry to hear about Marija's passing. She was a wonderful person. I remember she custom made my prom dress. So sweet and caring about everyone. She will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
