My condolences to the Jenkins family. I hope your memories of Marilou bring you some measure of comfort. She was very kind to my wife and I when we visited in Florida and Galena.

Mom, we miss you terribly. I am so grateful you were my mother and wouldn't change one thing. You accomplished so much in this lifetime and inspire me to be a better, more compassionate, stronger woman myself. You were fearless and I aspire to be more so. Well done, Mama. Mission accomplished. I love you now and forever. Until next time, rest well.

Marilou, my sweet, precious oldest sister. Sometimes I called her Mariloudee Pearl... sort of like a name hug. She was a timeless beauty, inside and out, with the most elegant, expressive and talented hands. I couldn't keep my eyes off them. I don't know if there is a number big enough to count the number of times I've said to myself, I wish I could be more like Marilou. She was a hard worker from an early age on and a huge, non-judgmental supporter of anyone, especially family, who needed someone to champion them. No one was undeserving of her love. I and my family benefited from that love and support so many times. You know the song...I'm Gonna Live, (Live, Live) Till I Die... that's what Marilou did! I love you and your ashes, Mariloudee Pearl. This earth will be stronger... wherever they are spread. I know you will be happy in your new heavenly home with all your loved ones who are already there. But, I will miss you so much. Till we meet again. Your sister, Nancy.
