Marilyn Fischer nee Leader, 79, former teacher, Chicago Public Schools. Beloved wife of the late Edward H. Fischer. Devoted mother of Lisa Shawn Fischer and Brian (Carol) Fischer. Loving grandmother of Edward C. Fischer. Dear sister of Robert (Eleanor) Leader. Sister in law of the late Tobia Leader. Daughter of the late Sarah and Karl Leader. Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 23, at THE PISER CHAPEL, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church St) Skokie. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Norridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the the Marilyn L. Fischer Prize in Creative Arts, Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Desplaines, IL 60016.
