Brian and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
We meet Mark through our boys who played on the same soccer team (Green and White). Brian and our boys went to Frienship together and then again at Lincoln College. Mark was an avid supporter of his son and a great side line coach.
He will be missed.

Mark, Bob, & Linda all hold dear places in my childhood memories of growing up on Nelson Lane. Summer nights of jail break and flashlight tag, times spent in each others basements- all seem like they happened just the other day. Mark’s passing is a shocking reminder of how precious our lives are. My deepest sympathies go out to you all. I hope in your grief, thoughts of those better times help soften the pain of your loss.
With fond remembrance,
Janice DeRose

I met Mark about ten years ago. Ironically he grew up in Whitehall Michigan and I just across the river in Montague. We both graduated in 77. He always met you with a smile. We would share the latest updates of Michigan. His knowledge and experience with his craft were immediately evident. He was generous and always shared or went the extra step to help. I will miss his calm demeanor. He possed what few have: Integrity. I am proud to have known him and am a better man for it. I wish to emulate Mark. My prayers go out to Janice and their family. Mark's life is a complete library of books. I'm going back to "read some now and try not to focus on the last chapter of the last book. I'll miss you friend but hope to see you again.
