Mark was an outstanding scholar, teacher, and theological mentor. His passion for theology and spirituality inspired many of us. It was an honor to study with him at Loyola. Mark loved Jesus, his family, the Church, and his students. The Lord's comfort to Mark's family. May Mark's memory be eternal.

I was privileged to be one of his students in Durham from 2013-2014. He was a genuinely inspiring, encouraging, and generous professor. The memory with him will be always with me and my prayer is with him and his family. Professor Mark, rest in peace and rise in glory.
