Maxine Leszinske Obituary

Maxine Rosalie Leszinske, 82, of Santee Cooper Resort, Santee, SC, died Sunday afternoon in a Summerville, SC nursing home. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2001 in the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Eutawville, SC, with the Rev. John Scott officiating. Burial will be later in Elmhurst, IL. The family will receive friends in the social hall after the service. Mrs. Leszinske was born in Polo, IL, a daughter of the late Roy D. Allen and Mabell Sadie Trego Allen. She was a volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany and the ECW. She was the widow of Harry R. Leszinske. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Jackie Lucas of Vance, SC; son, Richard Leszinske of Warrenville, IL; sisters, Mrs. Lyola Finnestad of Rochelle, IL; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, P.O. Box 9, Eutawville, SC 29048. Avinger Funeral Home of Holly Hill, SC is in charge of arrangements.
