Dear Nancy, Allison, Ashley & family,
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Mick was a great guy who brought much laughter and fun to a very stressful work environment. I remember enjoying the sagas from Holland Michigan as Alison and Ashley sent e-mails to Mick regarding life and love at Hope College. We would sit at lunch time and read these e-mails pondering what turns and twists would come next; you two could write a book. Mick was also a personal mentor, providing frank and levelheaded advise regarding my career decisions which have stood me well. I am grateful to have known Mick and will always remember his beautiful koi ponds, his kind and frank manner and killer humor. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
