Millie Hennes, nee Solomon, beloved wife of the late Harold R. Hennes; loving mother of Ronna (Dr. Steven) Leibach, Robert Bows, Mitchell (Robin Sterns) Hennes and Robert (Kay) Hennes; loving grandmother of Pamela (Jonathon) Cohen, Jeffrey (Amy) Leibach and Sarah Leibach, Jeb and Jenny Bows, Jacob Hennes, Erin and Sarah Hennes; proud great-grandmother of Hannah Cohen; caring sister of the late Jerry (Elaine) Solomon; dear aunt of Bill (Marney) Solomon and Roberta (Leslie) Shwartz; friend to many. Services Monday 11 a.m. at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd. (one block N. of Lake Cook Rd.), Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom. My deepest condolences to you on the passing of your mother and grandmother. I have fond memories of Millie's delicious jello molds during holiday get-togethers, and more importantly, of what a warm, wonderful, caring person she was. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Although we were family only by marriage, Millie was "family" since I was born. She was always full of warmth, love and affection and was like another aunt to me. We shared almost every family occasion while Jerry was with us (for around 50 years). She was a wonderful person in every way. I was proud to have in my "family" and I will miss her very much.
