I send my condolences to Sis's family. She was an amazing woman and I so enjoyed the time we spent together along with Joe when I led the Sound Off group at North Shore Senior Center.

They were both so instrumental in welcoming people into the program at North Shore Senior Center and helping so many people begin to deal with their hearing loss.

I was also gifted by them with an amazingly hardy cactus plant that grew and grew. It was a parting gift when I left North Shore Senior center to go to another agency.

A particular memory that has always stayed with me was when Sis was talking about her love of music and how she continued to go to concerts after her hearing loss began. She mentioned that she would just recreate in her mind the parts of the pieces she couldn't hear due to her loss and then follow along when the music came back to what she was still able to hear.

I will keep them both in my heart and again my condolences.
