To the family of Ned Whitmore. My deepest sympathy on the loss of Ned. I first worked with Ned in Home Office in 1977 and he was instrumental in moving me to San Diego in 1978. I stayed in touch with him each year at Christmas after he retired. This was the first year I had not heard from him. He will be missed...many of us owe him a great deal.

To the family of Ned Whitmore: I am a former Allstater who worked with Mr. Whitmore for about two years up until his retirement in the early eighties. I learned a great deal from him during that short time, and enjoyed the opportunity to work with him. I am extremely sorry for your loss, and my thoughts and prayers will be with all of you. Warm regards, Bob Harrington, Finance Director, Fireman's Fund Insurance, Bethlehem, PA
