Nicholaos A. Loggarakis. Beloved husband of Kaliope nee Georgou. Loving father of Alexandra (Nick) Dimoulis and Anastasios (Dimitra) Loggarakis. Proud papou of Niki (Nick) Frentzos, Elena (Lambros) Konstantellos, Nicholas, Vasilios and Alexia Loggarakis. Great grandfather of Christos Konstantellos. Devoted son of the late Anastasios and Alexandra Loggarakis. Dear brother of Andreas (Efstathia) Loggarakis, Anthie (Peter) Koromilas and the late Vasilios (Maria) Loggarakis. Fond uncle, cousin and friend of many. Nick founded Nick and Ernies Automotive in Skokie in 1967 and was a past Worshipful Master in 2003, Hellenic Lodge No 1084, A.F. & A.M. Visitation Friday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at SMITH-CORCORAN Funeral Home 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Chicago. Family and friends will meet Saturday morning at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church 7373 N. Caldwell Ave. Niles, IL 60714 for funeral service at 10:00am. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Haralambos Church would be appreciated. Dear Ernie and Family,
I was saddened to hear the news of your father's passing from my family in the Chicagoland area. Your father was wonderful and kindhearted man. My brothers and I had fond memories of your father when my parents would take their car for service at his various gas stations and auto repair shops. I always enjoyed talking to your father when I would get gas for my car at the Oakton/Austin location. He was always kind and warm. He always enjoyed a good laugh when I would see him at that location. My wife and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family and may God grant you strength and courage during this time.
