Nick A. Andrews

Nick A. Andrews, 93, of Des Plaines passed away on January 17, 2022. He was born in Graikou (Megalopolis), Greece on September 15, 1928, to the late Andrew and Panayiota (Tsinonis) Andrews. He was a devoted member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church. Nick was a lifelong Yankees fan and an avid golfer. He owned and operated Evan and Arthur's restaurant in Chicago for 18 years. Nick also owned and operated Kwiky Grill in Forest Park for 30 years. He survived by his wife of 55 years, Voula (Kondilis); sons, Andrew and Tom (Paulette); grandchildren, Nicholas, Amalia; sisters, Christina (the late George) Tsekeres, Eleni (the late Gus) Varvaressos; brother in-law, George (Tina) Kondilis; sister in-law, Sophia (Constantine) Koulogeorge; and many nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Vasilo (George) Speropoulos and Dina (Gus) Hassoulas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 10AM at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 N. Caldwell Ave., Niles, IL 60714. Interment will follow at Ridgewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church on Friday from 4-9PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Haralambos.
