Nick L. Korompilas, age 86. US Army Veteran. Beloved husband of 58 years to Mary Korompilas nee Nicholas. Loving father of Dr. Louis and Dr. Michael (Deborah) Korompilas. Proud grandfather of Nicholas L., Michael L., Stephanie M. and Nicholas M. Korompilas. Devoted son of the late Lambros and Georgia Korompilas. Dear brother of James (Vicki), Elaine (the late Steven) Pappas and George (Connie) Korompilas. Brother-in-law of George (Penny), the late Louis (the late Vickie) and the late Nicholas (Arlene) Nicholas. Fond uncle of many. Nick was a proud owner and partner of Big Top, Coronet and Chandelier Restaurants with his brothers. Family and friends will meet Saturday morning at Ascension Of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Church 1207 Riverwoods Road, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 for visitation from 9:00am until time of funeral service at 10:00am. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to Ascension Church Building Fund and Alzheimer's Association 8430 W Bryn Mawr Ave # 800, Chicago, IL 60631 would be appreciated.
