Norman Americus

Norman Americus, 93, longtime resident of Lincolnwood, Illinois, and most recently, Glenview, Illinois, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2018. Norman loved and cherished his dear wife, Violet, and the rest of his family whom he held so close to his heart. He was a devoted family man and successful business owner of Chicago Anodizing Company for over 50 years. Norman is survived by his wife, Violet, nee Oraham; his children, Annette (John) Serritella and David (Susan) Americus; his grandchildren, John Jr. (Jacqueline), Matthew, Christopher, Caroline Serritella, David, Michael and Joseph Americus; and his great-grandchildren, Violet and John III Serritella. Norman was a proud veteran. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday December 8th, at Carter-Westminster United Presbyterian Church, 4950 Pratt Avenue, Skokie, until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norman's name may be made to Carter-Westminster United Presbyterian Church.
