Patricia Ann Sonnicksen, nee Byrne, 86, of Glenview, formerly of Edgebrook, died February 18, 2017. Born May 13, 1930 to the late Gerald Emmett Byrne, Sr. and the late Angela (Kilboy) Byrne. Beloved wife of 48 years of the late Richard W. Sonnicksen, Sr. Loving mother of Karen (John) Sellers of Evanston; Richard (Patricia) Sonnicksen, Jr. of Barrington; Robert (Theresa) Sonnicksen of Park Ridge; Kathryn (William) Rossi of Palatine; and Julie (Daniel) Bartoli of Chicago. Cherished grandmother of 13: Jeffrey, Katherine (Trey Hanks), Ryan and Colin Sellers; Lauren and Amy Sonnicksen; David Sonnicksen; Kevin, Matthew (Kaitlin, nee Johnson) and Kristen Rossi; and Stephanie, Jennifer and Madeline Bartoli. Beloved great-grandmother of Lucy Hanks. Dear sister of the late Geraldine Swallow and the late Gerald (Maxine) Byrne, M.D.; dear sister-in-law of Janet (the late Gordon) Lloyd; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
