Prof Sally was a giant on the mathematics education landscape in Chicago.
He was always learning and always teaching.
His leadership and vision will be missed, but he trained many to
continue his mission of excellence in education.

He was a great mathematician and his legacy will live on. I had the honor of seeing him at the Young Scholars Program in 2013 where he taught me many new concepts.

My deepest sympathies to the family.
