Pauline A. Saliga, age 69, passed away Sept. 11, 2022. Executive Director of the Society of Architectural Historians. Beloved wife of John J. Gronkowski. Loving mother of Thomas C. Gronkowski (Jennifer Held) and Nadia Gronkowski Valchev (Ivaylo Valchev). Loving grandmother of Remy Bader Gronkowski Valchev. Daughter of the late Paul and Caroline Saliga. Daughter-in-law of Thomasine (the late Edward) Gronkowski. Sister of the late Christine Saliga-Sullivan (Michael). Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at Donnellan Funeral Home, 10525 S. Western Ave., Chicago. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Pauline Saliga Fund at the Society of Architectural Historians, http://sah.org/donate.
