Peter and I met at Cadillac Ranch in or around May 2003 and spent the next three years as dance partners and scavengers at estate sales in the northwest suburbs. A good conversationalist, we would talk for hours about gardening, careers and wildlife. He was more than kind to my daughter and I. I miss him. He came to visit me in the hospital during a sad season of life and brought a cd player with some music and actually led me in a few dances inthe hospital hallway to cheer me up. I won tickets to a Tim McGraw concert and he joined me for that one. People would come up to us on our excursions and compliment us on our dancing. They would say we enjoyed each other so much they had fun watching us. He was a man I admire greatly. My hope is he is resting in peace.
