I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Peter as a very considerate leader and truly a gentle man. I imagine his passing will leave a void -- but also many warm feelings -- in a lot of people's hearts.

Dear Nancy: I just heard about Peter's passing and I wanted to give you my deepest sympathies. I worked in the Southfield office at Sequent and Peter was always so nice to me any time he called or visited. One year he gave me the sweetest Christmas decoration that I still put out every year and think of him fondly. I just put it out a couple of weeks ago and thought about him and I am very sad to hear this news. I will pray for you and your family and be thankful for the opportunity to know such a wise and kind hearted man.

Dear Nancy,
Thank you SO much for still sending the Christmas cards out! Karen and I were shocked to learn of Peter's passing! My memories of working with Peter at Sequent and IBM are fond! He was a great person who I learned a lot from...most of all, how to be patient and gentlemanly in all situations! I'm sure words cannot help the pain you must feel from missing him, but know that our prayers go out to you, your family and Peter! Thank you again for thinking of us with the Christmas card...we will cherish it! Karen has collected all of your cards over he years because they are so beautiful!

Sincerely,
Karen and Chris Meurer

To Nancy and Peter's family. I just learned of Peter's passing away. I saw and visited with him often at IBM. He really was a fine person and always a pleasure to be with. Although I have not met you, I did want to express my feelings of loss for Peter and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Nancy, I just learned of Peter's passing by way of a phone call from John Skahill. Needless to say I was shocked to hear of your loss. You and Peter were our wonderful next door neighbors on Bristlecone Ct and I have only the fondest memories from those years. Ever since my return to Illinois after ten years in Minnesota, I,ve always intendedto call you and Peter for a luncheon rendevous in Naperville but procrastination has gotten the best of me. Perhaps in the future we can finally get together, sadly without Peter. Please accept our sympathy and prayers.

Dear Nancy,
It's Jerry Vennard and I'm in SHOCK!!!
I can't believe Peter is gone. Barbara and I want you to know that you are in our prayers.
Peter was simply the best and I am proud to have met him, work with him and have him as my best man at our wedding.
I know words are simply inadequate at this time, but his memories will live forever.
Love,
Jerry and Barbara

Dear Nancy

How sad Nancy and I were to hear of the loss of Peter. The years we had the privilege of being with you and Peter were special. The notice of his passing brings back memories of those good old days of business and pleasure at Sperry and Unisys. Your relationship with Peter as a wife, friend and confidant was evidence of a unique bond that was the envy of many. There is nothing that can be said at this time to heal the hole in your heart but as time goes on we are certain fond memories of your life together will sustain you.

May the peace of God abide with you as you move through this burdensome time.

Our heartfelt wishes and prayers are with you.

Dear Nancy,

We are devastated to learn of Peter's passing. Our memories of you and Peter's time spent in St. Louis is so vivid and full of wonderful times. It was a great period for all of us and one that we so cherish. "Pete" was always a gentleman and so interested in his client's work and we both relished in the "art of negotiations". He will truly be missed and you both are in our prayers.

Nancy,
I also worked with Peter through Walgreens. He was a kind, caring and gentle person. It was an absolute joy to see him in the halls. He always took time to talk and ask if he could assist with anything. He always wore a smile on his face and brought a smile to my life regardless of the situation. He will be greatly missed by many. May God bless you in this difficult time and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Nancy my heartfelt condolences. Peter was a great guy.I have great memories of working with Peter. We argued quite a bit, so I could get his British in the air. In college when everyone was wearing army fatiques, not Pete he had on yellow golf pants and a shirt with a pony on it. He always hung out with a tall beautiful blond that had a large dog protecting her,or was the dog protecting Peter. Peter and I enjoyed many laughs over many years. He was delight to work with as our many clients, each held him the highest esteem.Diane and I will keep you in our prayers.

Dear Nancy,
I had the pleasure and honor of working with Peter at Walgreens for many years. Throughout exhausting and lengthy negotiations at quarter end he was always not only professional but caring, gentlemanly, and very witty. His presence made everyone feel better. He was such a joy and loved by all. My thoughts are with you and your family. May his memory be a blessing.

Dear Nancy, Peter's been someone I've had the chance to know and work with for the better part of a decade, he always took care of anything I sent his way. The thought that I was chatting with him just last week makes the memory of that simple, final conversation all the more important. He was a great guy. I will miss him deeply.

It was my pleasure to work with Peter at Walgreens for many years. He was not only a trusted colleague, but also a dear friend. I will never forget Peter’s warm and heartfelt holiday voicemail messages in which he always stated what an honor and privilege it was to work with us. For so many different reasons, I believe the honor and privilege was all ours. May God be with you during this difficult time as we keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I also worked with Peter at IBM.
Peter was the model of what a client representative should be: professional, thoughtful, and sincerely interested in the success of the customers he served. The business world can at times be an impersonal place. Peter always added the personal touch, which made his customers and coworkers truly blessed to have known him.

Dear Nancy,
I worked with your husband at IBM. It seems rarer and rarer today that you find someone like Pete that embodies both a successful, tenacious focus on results and at the same time the sweetness, humor and humanity that defined him. He was respected and adored equally by colleagues and customers because he consistently strove for the best and fairest result for all. My prayers and sympathies go out to you and your family. What a gift he was to know, and how missed he will be.
Sincerely,
Kristi Mollenhoff

Dear Nancy, I had the pleasure of working with Peter at IBM on the Walgreens’ account. We didn’t have regular contact but I was always impressed by his professionalism, quality of character and when I’d least expect it, a one-liner that would keep me laughing for the rest of day. He was a great guy who will be truly missed.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Pete at IBM for the past 3+ years. He was always the utmost professional and a REAL human being and friend. Words fail me. When my father passed a few years ago Pete reached out and showed genuine empathy. He will be so sorely missed. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.

We were so deeply saddened to learn of your loss. Pete will be missed by so many: he was an exemplary business man with a certain dignity about him. A meeting with Pete was a welcomed commitment because he'd come prepared not only with the facts, but with a kind word and a smile for each person in attendance. If Pete told you something, you knew it was, quite simply, the truth. Finally, Pete will be missed not only for his expertise and work ethic, but for the friendship his visits and phone calls brought. God bless you all; our thoughts and prayers are with you.
